Blind Scale: Logic Puzzle

Blind Scale ("the App") is operated as a personal project. This policy explains how the App handles your information.

Data we collect

The App stores all game progress, settings and state locally on your device only. It has no account, no sign-in and no server of its own. The App is available for iPhone and iPad (App Store) and for Android (Google Play). The only information that ever leaves your device is advertising data handled by Google AdMob (see Advertising), purchase requests handled by Apple or Google Play (see In-app purchases) and, on Android, your device's own backup (see Backup on Android).

Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to show ads: optional rewarded ads you choose to watch (for a hint, to wake a sleepy creature, to unlock the daily bonus puzzle, or to continue a run), and occasional ads between levels. All ads are served non-personalised. They are not based on a profile of your interests, the App does not ask for permission to track you (on iPhone and iPad no App Tracking Transparency prompt is shown), and ad content is limited to general audiences.

To deliver ads, prevent fraud and limit how often the same ad is shown, AdMob may process limited technical data, which can include:

You can review and manage Google ad preferences at adssettings.google.com. For details on how Google uses data, see policies.google.com/privacy and how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

In-app purchases

Optional purchases (Remove Ads, hint packs and the Supporter Pack) are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store on iPhone and iPad, and by Google Play on Android. We never see your payment details, name, Apple ID or Google account. The App only receives a confirmation that a purchase was made, and keeps a note on your device so that, for example, hints are added exactly once. Restoring purchases asks Apple or Google Play, not us. Their handling of purchase data is described in Apple's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy.

Backup on Android

On Android, the App's save file (game progress and settings, including the note of your purchases) is part of Android's own backup, so it can come back when you reinstall the App or move to a new phone. This backup is made by your device and stored by Google in your Google account, only if backup is turned on in your device settings. We cannot access it. You can turn it off or delete it in your device's backup settings or your Google account. Nothing else from the App is backed up. On iPhone and iPad the save file stays on your device.

Website

This website (lovhatads.com/blindscale/) does not use cookies and loads no third-party scripts or fonts. The only thing recorded is how many times each page has been viewed: a single running number per page, held on our own server. No IP address, no cookie and no identifier of any kind is stored, so a view cannot be traced back to you, and unique visitors are deliberately not counted.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent or share any data with anyone, except the limited advertising data processed by Google AdMob as described above, purchases processed by Apple or Google Play, and, on Android, your device's own backup held by Google in your account.

Children

The App is rated 4+ on the App Store and is suitable for all ages, but it is not specifically directed at children. We collect no personal data from anyone, children included. Ads are non-personalised and limited to general-audience content.

Your rights (GDPR)

Since we hold no personal data about you, there is no profile for us to access, correct or delete. All data the App keeps is on your device, and you can clear it at any time from the App under Settings → Progress → Reset, or by uninstalling the App (on Android, also delete the App's backup in your Google account if you want it gone everywhere).
